In Utah, opioid overdoses have killed more people than car accidents and gun deaths combined. In this episode we talk about the origins of the opioid epidemic both in Utah and throughout the nation. Joining us is Angela Stander Ito from the Utah Department of Health to give us some of her insights as she fights on the front lines of this epidemic.
